The Twilight Timeline. Sometimes we all forget where our Twilight obsession started. So to solve your short term memory loss, either go back and read the books or read this post...or do both. All the memorable things, that you probably haven't looked back at sense they happened. Just remember them.

Take a journey back in time; before Robert
Pattinson ruled the world, before we were a society obsessed with vampires and
werewolves, and before a little known author named Stephenie Meyer had a
dream.
In the midst of the chaos in Hollywood, four
hundred miles away a young mother who is tackling car pool, swim lessons, and
dinnertime meals is about to change pop culture forever. It all began with a
dream and it forever changed the lives of millions; shaping careers for hundreds
and creating ideas for millions. On June 3, 2003, Stephenie Meyer mother, of
three living in Phoenix, woke up from a dream that changed her life.

2003
On June 2, 2003 Stephenie Meyer woke up from a
dream and Twilight was born. She spent the next two years grabbing the story
from her dreams and putting them into one of the most well crafted and detailed
books we have seen this decade. These two years flew past as the author
feverishly put together the story of Bella and Edward. Some rumors say that it
only took Meyer three months to write Twilight but it look longer with selling
the manuscript and editing.

2005

•Twilight was published.

2006
•New Moon was published.

2007
•Eclipse was published.
•Kristen Stewart landed the role of Bella
Swan.
•Robert Pattinson landed the role of Edward
Cullen.

2008
•The Cullen Family was announced as; Carlisle
(Peter Facinelli), Esme (Elizabeth Reaser), Alice (Ashley Greene), Jasper
(Jackson Rathbone), Rosalie(Nikki Reed) and Emmett (Kellan
Lutz).
•The cast and crew filmed Twilight outside of
Portland, OR.
•Twilight Tuesday were born on MTV.
•Breaking Dawn was published.
•Twilight soundtrack topped Billboard
chart.
•Twilight he movie released.
•Chris Weitz tapped as The Twilight Saga: New Moon
director.
•Rumors that Michael Copon and Ben Barnes were up
for the role of Jacob Black.
•Catherine Hardwicke leaves the Twilight Saga after
only directing Twilight.

2009
•Taylor Lautner proved he was Jacob Black and
secured the part.
•Dakota Fanning was cast as Jane in New
Moon.
•Twilight DVD released in
February.
•New Moon begins filming in
Vancouver.
•David Slade tapped as The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
director.
•Rachelle Lefevre replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard
in the role as Victoria.
•Creation Entertainment teams up with Summit
Entertainment to bring you The Official Twilight Convention.
•New Moon hits theaters.

2010
•The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will debut in theaters
in July.
