Is It Meyer's Talent, Or Our Niche?

Is it really Stephenie Meyer's creative wording, or is what people are just wanting? Maybe we have moved past Dracula and Buffy, but are we really past vampires? True Blood on HBO is a big hit, and I don't have to tell you how sucessful Twilight has been...so are we just loving vampires? Or are we jsut loving Twilight and sticking with vampires all together? We don't know, but we sure are loving it all.
